Lamborghini has formally unveiled its new flagship supercar, the Aventador. As the replacement to the long serving Murcielago, expectations are riding high and according to Lamborghini, the Aventador, which they reckon is an evolution worth “two-generations”, will not disappoint.
The Aventador takes on a name made famous by a fighting bull bred by Don Celestino Cuardi Vides family. In October 1993, Aventador battled in the Spanish bull-fighting arena at Zaragoza and by virtue of exhibiting tremendous courage earned the “Trofeo de la Peña La Madroñera”. As a tribute, this latest creation from Bologna now bears its name.
The details about the Aventador are sure to encourage purists and gentlemen alike – it’s as much a beast as it is a beauty. As the flagship in the Lamborghini range, the Aventador is expected to be everything a Lamborghini should be and this is evident from the amazing figures on this raging bull. While power and performance figures are up, Lamborghini also worked hard to ensure that weight and fuel consumption figures went down – essentially translating into a leaner and meaner supercar.

respect lamborghini! this eat any Ferrari night or day.
The Aventador is pure lambo… I’d have done with a more stealth look for the car though. The orange is really OTT.
