The Cygnet
Some cars or concepts are known to make a lot of “noise” during their pre-production stage, and their status is closely followed by the media. Usually these cars belong to the super car segment, or at least the sports one. This car doesn’t rightly belong to any of these segments, yet we’ve been hearing about it for quite some time; probably because of its uniqueness.
This car is the Aston Martin Cygnet. Some call it an aberration, others call it the future. Hard to say who s right, but all we can say is that the heads at Aston Martin are convinced it’s brilliant, so much that the Cygnet is ready to go into production for 2011.
Boasting three meters in length, this baby Aston Martin is based on the Toyota IQ, which is shipped ready to roll to Aston Martin’s head quarters in Gaydon, England, and goes through a purely cosmetic British treatment before hitting the roads under the winged emblem.
Apart from its one-size-fits-all 1.3 litre four cylinder petrol engine, the Cygnet will be fully customizable to the owner’s desires in terms of interior, with the full range of Aston Martin Leathers and an almost unlimited palette of materials. Every single Cygnet will be customized so that no two Aston superminis will be identical.

The interior will be fully customizable, with all of Aston Martin's leathers available for you to play with

Aston Martin X Toyota – I love it! I think that they could have done a bit more for the rims though… they somehow just don’t look “right”.
Baby Aston? Or big brother IQ? The RED interior is SUPER COOL though! When is this selling in SG?
I forecast this car to be the winner of the 2011′s Ugliest Car award
